Week in and week out the act of being at work can make even the happiest people quiet and withdrawn.
What can be done to boost workplace moral?
In the different workplaces I have been in different strategies have been used like having company events, weekly breakfasts, or employee of the month.
What I have found that works best is a grassroots effort from employees not employers. The most successful moral boosters came from the minds of employees because simply they know what they like. And given the opportunity people will make the effort to improve the quality of their lives.
