Why I Love to Work

Work involves dedication, assistance, courage, and responsibility in order to feel connected to what we do.

Most jobs offer one or none of what I believe is essential to finding enjoyment in work.

So much dissatisfaction with work leads people to buying lottery tickets, visiting the casinos, or doing other behaviours in order to fullfill the dream of retiring early and leaving the workforce.

In this Macleans article the dream of leaving work behind with is shown using the example of Lotto 6/49 slogan “Just imagine”.

“Just imagine”, it says, all the things you would do if you won the lottery.

The majority of people will never achieve that goal and are left to work in unsatisfying jobs.

I ask myself what would I do if I won the lottery? And the the answer is simple. Work.

The work I do now is a reflection of my ambitions, passions, and drives.

I love what I do because I know I do it well and make a difference however small in the grand scheme of things.

Nothing could change that.
